We have all heard the phrase "it takes a village to raise a child" Right?

Well it really does in days gone by kids would have played out and the whole neighbourhood would know who they were where they lived. When babies were born the midwives would come, you would have possibly had family to rally around.

Now though we are lucky if we get the same midwife throughout our pregnancies, a lot of new parents live miles away from their own parents.

I live in the same town as my family and yet when I had my first set of twins ( yep I said first I have two sets of twins!)
